6 years agoYes definitely, CAT is the exam designed for IIM. Without CAT or XAT, you cant get into the Iims. CMAT is acceptable to other colleges not IIM. If you are looking forward for IIM then do sit for CAT and XAT else you need to check other colleges. Between if you are looking for admission through CMAT you can apply to colleges ranked in the Shiksha rank list. BIMM, Pune is one of the top ranked college accepting CMAT. IIMS do not consider CMAT. CAT is the key to get into IIMS. -
IIMS take admission through CAT only, and you should score above 90 percentile. -
As per my knowledge, yes it is compulsory to clear CAT for getting admission in IIM, it does not accept CMAT. Thank you.
