Is it compulsory to clear CAT to get admission in IIM? Is CMAT not acceptable there?

Yes, CAT is a primary eligibility test to get into IIMS, and you have to clear it with 95 percentile. All the best.

5 years agoYes definitely, CAT is the exam designed for IIM. Without CAT or XAT, you cant get into the Iims. CMAT is acceptable to other colleges not IIM. If you are looking forward for IIM then do sit for CAT and XAT else you need to check other colleges. Between if you are looking for admission through CMAT you can apply to colleges ranked in the Shiksha rank list. BIMM, Pune is one of the top ranked college accepting CMAT.
