Yes, it is compulsory to clear CAT entrance to get admission in IIM's. Admission in IIM's is based on CAT or GMAT. Through CMAT, you cannot get admission in IIM's. Good luck. -

CAT is compulsory to get admission in IIMs. To seek admission in IIM, you need to at least score more than 95 percentile to get an interview call for PI. CAT score is also accepted for admission in other business schools. -
