Bro, LPU ek UGC recognized university hai aur AICTE se separately approval lene ki zarurat nahi hoti kyunki universities ko UGC hi regulate karti hai, lekin jo professional programs jaise B.Tech, MBA, Pharmacy, Architecture hote hain un sabhi ko respective councils se approval milta hai matlab agar tu engineering karega toh AICTE norms ke according hi hoga, agar pharmacy karega toh PCI approved hoga, aur architecture COA se approved hai, so tension lene ki zarurat hi nahi hai, sab legal aur recognised hai.

The university is also accredited by bodies like the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and h

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), which is the major regulatory agency for Indian universities. As a full-fledged university by a state legislature act, LPU is exempt from needing AICTE approval for its traditional on-campus degree courses this is consistent with Supreme Court directives and national policy.
Yet specific definite programs like MBA and MCA run in distance and online modes are AICTE-approved.
For all other technical and professional courses, the UGC recognition of LPU validates and makes its degrees national as well as valid, and students are not at any loss in pl

Dear Sudipto, LPU is not approved by AICTE. To the best of my knowledge, a university doesn't need AICTE approval to run any technical programme if already recognised by UGC. Well, Lovely Professional University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education in India, under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956. AICTE approval is not required for a university to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgment CWP2056 of 1999 titled BHARATHIDASAN UN...more
