I am proud alumni of LPU. I have spent a couple of years here and this was the place where I get many of the things that I have now in my career. Life at LPU is so amazing. Let's jump to the answer SEE guys LPU is a university that is approved by (UGC) University Grant Commission. The institutions which are affiliated with Universities require AICTE approval. LPU is the best University to join as it focuses on the overall growth of the students. Dear Sudipto, LPU is not approved by AICTE. To the best of my knowledge, a university doesn't need AICTE approval to run any technical programme if already recognised by UGC. Well, Lovely Professional University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education in India, under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
