Is LPU good for studying B.Sc in agriculture? Will I face any problem in getting jobs in India or abroad after the same?

<p>Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a great institution for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture. It is a 4-year full-time course that has an excellent course structure along with good infrastructure support from the university. The eligibility generally requires 10+2 with any of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Agriculture, having around 60% marks. LPU has a good seating capacity and the handout of good average placement with INR 5.57 Lacs package offered to student's after completion of course, which clearly shows the placement process is good.</p><p>With regards to job opportunities after completing B.Sc. in Agriculture, both in India and abroad has a myriad of opportunities for graduates. In India, there are jobs available at government organizations such as agricultural officer, research scientist, Indian forest service, ICAR, food technology companies, fertilizer companies, banks, and many more. The agriculture sector is increasingly modernized, this has produced a higher demand for graduates with specialisation in agriculture and consequently led to their increase employability.</p>

School of Agricultural sciences is one of the fastest growing school of Agriculture in the entire region and India. It is being rated as among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. Students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. Now you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR. I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs. In order to infuse understanding on emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture field visits are conducted to neighboring farms, orchards and nurseries. Not only subject related education is imparted but also the professional enhancement is added by the university through the different courses like soft skills and communication skills. HI, LPU is the best for studying B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture and you will not face any problem in your job because it has ICAR approval. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country. If the University is ICAR approved, It means the university has all the resources like fields, labs, etc. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. Dear Siripireddy, LPU is the best to pursue B.Sc. In Agriculture and you won't face any problems after your degree. My friend did this programme at LPU and got placed in an MNC on campus, Here are the few leading jobs after B.Sc. Agriculture India and abroad: Agricultural Engineer. Business Development Executive. Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) Agricultural Scientist. Landscaping Manager. Crop Trial Officer. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. (I).
