Is LPU good for studying B.Sc in agriculture? Will I face any problem in getting jobs in India or abroad after the same?

Dear Siripireddy, LPU is the best to pursue B.Sc. In Agriculture and you won't face any problems after your degree. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. Now you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR. I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs. I have completed my graduation from LPU and I have seen that agriculture department is one of the finest department. Well-equipped and well grown from last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country.
