I have completed my graduation from LPU and I have seen that agriculture department is one of the finest department. Well-equipped and well grown from last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.

No Not at all, you will not find any problem in getting a job anywhere in the world if you do a degree in agriculture at LPU since it is a full fledged recognised university by UGC.Of course LPU has its own farms, trained faculty, cutting edge course content. It surely is good for B Sc Agriculture. Let me tell you agriculture courses are very popular because LPU is the first private university to get an ICAR approval. The programme the LPU agriculture programme is designed with a target of holistic development of students. School of Agriculture offers programs with up-to -date curriculum designed to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The laboratories of the School are world class. The dedicated faculty gives the students a hands -on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units.
