Is only CAT score a factor for admission in IIMs?

CAT Score is one of the factor to get admission to IIMs. The other factors are as follow :
1. Academic
2.Diversity
3.Work Experience
4.GD
5.PI -
CAT score is not the only factor for getting selected into IIMs. There are various things that matter while the IIMs or any other B-School in India look for in a prospective candidate:
1) Strong academic knowledge: May or may not be related to your grades but the application of concepts is very important
2) Verbal and written communication skills: Gauged through a comprehensive process of GD/What and Personal Interview.
3) Extra-Curricular Activities: It is expected that a student must show some amount of engagement in activities other than academics.

No, different IIMs have different shortlisting criteria for their admission process. However, the weightage of CAT score plays a key role as that is something which is in your hands to improve, and not the past academic records to get a call. Good luck.
