If anyone does not like coding and want to push career in IT field, than web designing is a good choice because it doesn't need hardcore coding and one can earn good with it. New technologies made web designing very easy as anyone can use this with little training.

The scope of web designing is still very good as far as India is concerned. The world still requires websites and web based applications. Being an outsourcing hub, India has a good potential to receive the web related jobs. So, you can have a job of web designer easily.
In any field, especially in IT sector, where you are going to be recruited by a private company, educational qualification matters least. The recruiting web design company will see your output level, how much beneficent you can be. The degree will not matter. So, from where and how you develop your skill doesn't matter. 1. Social media has become the medium of interaction. Every news article gets published on the website of the particular news channel before it hits the television screen of the viewers.
2. Improvement in digitisation has brought the market place online. Websites like Flipkart/Amazon are in demand. A user-friendly and simple/efficient website is needed.
3. Not only grabbing a good job profile but if you have an interest in starting your own business. it will help you in marketing and lower your initial capital.
