No, until you merge with graphic design as well. web design is very easy anybody can do basics. but the main thing is how to implement it. so. my opinion is to go for development with designing, it will give you an extra skills and you can learn a lot of new things for www -

Web designing is a course thatswhy many people do this and their no. in india and abroad is increasing rapidly.
This means that package will be less. In my views i wouldnt suggest to go in this field because you will remain in crowd with common talent. -
no.if this is your one professional degree then ok,its help u too much,bt today's time,if u think u only stay in web designing,then there are some disadvantage.main problem salary pkg is nt good in this line. -
career in web designing is good as its less coding as compared to other technologies but at the same time web designing scope is limited in terms of salary, you can club the web designing with Dot Net or Php in order to make your profile better.
