    Hello,
LPU NEST criteria is totally depends on which programme you intend to take admission. For some programmes like engineering, Ph.D. LPU NEST is mandatory (Exemptions applied on National level tests) and in case of availing admission in BBA B.Com B.Sc. Computer Science, etc. LPU NEST is not mandatory. According to the eligibility criteria only, we can define LPU NEST is taken as a parameter or not. Qualifying LPU NEST also helps in availing a good amount of scholarship. For more details, kindly visit www.lpu.in.

Hi Teja, That depends on which programme you are seeking admission. If you want to pursue B.Tech, then it is mandatory to write LPU NEST for 80% marks in 10+2. However for most other programs it acts as a scholarship test. You can write it to attain or improve your scholarships. Do check the eligibility, scholarships and further process at www.admission.lpu.in
    Hope this helps

    Hello Teja
LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and scholarship for most of the programmes. The amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. It totally depends on programme which you will choose. For some programmes, LPU NEST is mandatory for eligibility.

    Hello,
It completely depends upon the course you are looking for. There are certain courses in LPU in which there is no entrance exam I. e. LPU NEST is not mandatory such as BBA BCA Hotel Management, B.Sc. In different specializations, Diploma programs, B.J. M. C. and many more, you just need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria and you can get your admission done. Last date for admission in such courses is 30th April. However, you can apply for LPU NEST for scholarship after getting your admission confirmed. If you are looking for admission in Engineering, PG Agriculture, MBA or LL.M. then you need to qualify LPU NEST. Counsellin

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. In order to manage time wisely during the LPU NEST examination, candidates should start their preparation by having some knowledge about the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates should take up regular timed mock tests that have a similar environment as the real exam in order to keep on improving with their speed and accuracy. It would be best to start with the questions with which candidates feel comfortable. Leaving out difficult questions would allow the candidates to return to them later, if time permits. Some target-setting, mini-deadlines for each section, should help ensure that pacing remains in balance. There are a few calcula
