It depends on what were your courses in 11th and 12th. A career in a similar stream which you had in your class 11th and 12th will help you to succeed in a better way. Commerce and Science are the two broad categories. In commerce, you can go for arts/design, business, finance and banking.
In Science, you have engineering and medical. These are the traditional streams which students choose. Some new streams are also in demand nowadays like biotechnology, nanotechnology, agriculture and genetics. Students are also moving towards fashion designing and interior designing. We have B.Arch. exam for such students. Research-oriented students can go for KVPY and get into institutes like IISC, IISERs. Commerce students can also go for CA.
So, there are courses like typical mechanical/electrical and computer science in engineering to newer ones like hotel management and fashion designing. You can opt for any of these as per your interest.

When comparing Diploma and a degree programme, a degree is always weighed more valuable than a Diploma, as student undergoes a lot of theoretical and practical modules under 3-4 years of programme. The selection process of all the IIMs is a two-stage process. The first stage is a shortlist based on your CAT score(CAT or the Common Admission Test is an exam conducted by IIM's every year for admission to various courses. CAT scores are used by all the IIM's and many non-IIM's as well) and your academic scores(class 10, 12, under graduation, post graduation etc. Different IIM's set different proportions of CAT score and academic scores to shortlist candidates for the next stage). The next and the final stage consists of Group Discussions and/or Essay Writing tests accompanied by a personal interview. The final selection is made by combining the scores obtained in CAT and the individual components in stage 2.

Yes our G.U is quite according to all greater noida colleges but according to delhi's IP JNU SYMBOISIS uh try should first they are better then G.U.but if uh prefer in greater noida for mass comm its s your best choice for opting GU.
Our faculties done a lot to our students and practical also done.which is very important in mass communication.we have practical knowledge first.then you can improve skills and knowledge.
So you can choose G.U for mass comm.
but one thing i will suggest you personally G.U is yamuna expressway.you have to do up and down daily so you have to take bus service or cab service for going daily.because if you go by own without private services its takes long duration to reach and wastage of time also you feel very tired and you can give 100% on your studies.

Hi, The GATE cut off is depends upon various factors as listed below and varies yearly and institute wise. The following factors will be considered during the preparation process of GATE cutoff for IITs and NITs:
1. Number of applicants for the specific course
2. Previous years cutoff trend
3. Difficulty level of the examination
