Hi Vinayak,
St Joseph's College of Commerce is a highly reputed Commerce college in the country. It is 130+ years old institution. It ranks top 8th in India and top 2nd in Bangalore after Christ University.
There would always be a rush to get admission in Joseph's. The cut-off is always high for B.Com. It is around 90% for General Merit, 75% for SC/ST and for Christian Catholic it is easy to get admission with 60% as Joseph's is a Christian minority College.

It depends. If you have interest in engineering then go for B.Tech+MBA. If you don't have any interest in science and engineering then opting the 1st option is a waste and you should opt BBA+MBA. Nothing is above or below. Your interest, skills and marks matter the most.
Good luck.
