VIT is a mixed bag when it comes to experience as a student. Infrastructure is very good, but the surrounding area of the college is a big problem. While studies are well taken care of by the excellent faculty members (one doesn't need to join classes), extracurricular activities are almost nothing compared to other colleges with similar CET cutoffs. Placements again are nothing to what it should be for a college with such infrastructure and faculty.
