The preparation strategy is different for different students. For students in Class XII, it is advisable that time be devoted to a daily dose of current affairs and legal updates.
Get hold of the previous years' question papers and solve as many papers as one can.
Keep reading newspapers and magazines and also work on your vocabulary.
In the last two months, attempt as many mock tests as you can, which are likely to improve your accuracy and speed.

For admission in a bachelor's degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. You can opt for either. However, the best option will be to go for BTech, then go for some industry/ work experience and then go for Masters.

Hi Saurav,
Its little bit difficult to say anythnig about VIT because last year around 4,720 students are offered admissions at VIT University ,Vellore and Chennai.
Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling.
All major branches like CS, EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in chennai campus
