With a rank of 3600, you can secure a CSE seat in the SRM KTR Campus. The closing rank for the CSE branch in SRMJEEE 2016 was around 9,500 - 10,500.
You can apply to the counseling process to secure a seat.
Candidates with a rank between 2000 – 5000 can get Computer Science engineering course at SRM.
You can also get IT or software engineering in the main campus.
The competition for admission in CSE is high, even though SRM University offers a high number of seats in CSE.

As per your rank, your chances are nil of getting any NIT or GFTI. However, you have come very close so I would suggest you to take a gap and prepare well for next year, you will surely get top colleges.

Aeronautical engineering is a field that has more to explore and research and so, there won't be many campus placements. You need to go for higher studies and research studies (if you wish to) and clear the respective tests to get a job in any of the space research centers or labs.
