For being eligible to pursue B.tech, it is important to be a 12th pass in Science + Maths and to gain admission in an institute, mostly one requires to write and qualify entrances for the same.
There are various kinds of entrance exams like the All India level exams - AIEEE / IIT JEE, State level exam- KCET, TANCET, MHT CET etc and Institute/ University specific like UPSEE for UPTU, SRMEEE for SRM University etc.

As you are inquiring about the correpondence/ part time options in B.Tech, there are very few options out of which, in my view, JNTU offering part time B.tech and IGNOU correspondence B.tech seem to be the most suggested options to go with.

Well there is a huge galore of subjects available to study with or without your chosen subjects, but it would entirely depend on your area of interest, your career goal, areas of strength etc whic will surely help you to decide you stream.
Being a PCM student, you can opt for engg although your agreegate is low than the required one, but then you can look up to some state level exams/ university specific exams to attain an engg seat. You can also look for B.Sc in a particular subject and gain proficiency in the same. You can take up IT/ Computer Science stream as it is one of the most rewarding career fields. Looking in other disciplines is not a bad option either like Finance& Accounting provided you have an interest in the subject and a flair to work hard for it, Commerce, management, creative/ fine arts- animation & multimedia, designing, media and mass comm etc are the other fields that you can consider as your prospective career domain.

The pros and cons would depend on your interest in the subject,your career goals and what all you learn from your coursework.Both fields have their own reputation and market value and both can be good specializations provided you choose one as per your skill set because both require different type of skill sets.
-The core areas of HR include Recruitment, (strategic planning, forecasting, hiring, and selection) Learning and Development, (training, learning management and administration, career enhancement) and Performance Evaluation - appraisals and promotions etc.
The core area of Marketing include strategy making&execution, understand the market/consumers/competition etc It is up to you to choose the sub fields in marketing that is to be in hard core marketing and sales jobs,chasing targets or be a market analyst, or take up brand management etc.
Before selecting any option it is important to understand your own skill sets and decide accordingly.
