As a student of MAPS, which is backed by two of the largest educational companies - Educomp, India and Raffles, Singapore; I would suggest you try for it. The good thing is that MAPS considers not only your test scores, but also your class 10, 12 and graduation percentage along with your extra curricular activities. So, if you had, lets say, been a good athlete in school, then you stand a fair chance of getting through.
