To complete your studies from Canada, you can go for online class like CMA (US), which can be completed within short period of time itself because than MBA, CMA (US) has more scope. For MBA, the fee is Rs.5 lakhs to Rs.6 lakhs, but for CMA it is lesser.

There is neither exact syllabus nor any book for the preparation of civil service exams.
However, for preparation, coaching notes, current affairs, daily newspapers and other ideal books for UPSC is a boost for the preparation. Current affairs are very important. In this year's UPSC Prelims, more than 40 questions came from current affairs and also around 20 from ancient history and medieval.
