Hi,
In order to become a lecturer in any recognized university in India , one needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
1. Must have passed Masters Degree examination from a recognized university in the subject you would like to teach.
2. Must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the masters degree examination.
3. Must have qualified National Eligibility Test for Lectureship conducted by University Grant Commission mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.

You do not need to be excellent at mathematics to work in the hospitality industry.
To pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel /Hospitality management you need to be 12th pass from any stream, the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from institute to institute. In addition, some CBSE schools have introduced hospitality management course after class 10th as an additional subject (vocational), you may opt for the same as that would build a foundation for your aspired career.
The eligibility depends on the type of course that you wish to pursue , the details of some courses is stated below:
Diploma –Class 10th pass from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.
Graduate & PG programs may also require you to appear in entrance exams such as NCHMCT,AIMA UGAT, E-CHAT etc.

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) every year to offer admissions to interested candidates in hospitality as well as hotel administration programmes on offer at colleges which accept this hotel management entrance exam scores.
On the basis of their score in NCHMCT JEE, candidates can get admission at 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 16 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management and 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT.
