To make up for the 16 year education you can opt for a one year PG Diploma in India. You may opt for distance learning courses as well. Just make sure the programmes and the university is recognized by UGC-DEC such as IGNOU etc.
Secondly, you must have atleast 2 or 3 years work experience without which you will not be considered for admissions into any MBA programmes in USA and elsewhere. GMAT/GRE scores will be required. Hi Kausik,
Hi Jayakumar, One of the main advantages of pursuing a degree in NSB is the dual certification program offered at NSB. Here, a degree certificate from a UGC recognized university (Mysore University) as well as an autonomous PGPM Certificate from National School of Business results in higher employability. In addition, students also have an opportunity to take part in an exchange program with ESC-Pau, France. The teaching methodologies followed at National School of Business are a mix of traditional classroom based teaching as well as application based teaching.National Educational and Social Trust, a charitable organization,

Hi Pranitha,
Unfortunately, every b-school requires some kind of competitive examination ( CAT, GMAT etc ) score for admission purposes.
In case someone has more than 7-8 years of work-experience, he/she can skip the examination and can directly take part in the program. ( This is only applicable for certain colleges ) As I see, this does not apply to you as you have just graduated, it is better to prepare for examination and secure an admission.
Regards!

There is no minimum score required to apply for the college. But having said that since the initial shortlist is purely based on the CAT scores, I would advise you to score as well as possible to improve your chances. We have 120 seats and would be calling adequate candidates for the initial round. Thus the cut-off would depend on the quality of the students applying and would not be a predefined score.

Cut off differs from institution to institution. So if you are aiming for IIM's then you got to score above 90. If you have a score more than 90 then you could bag among the IIM's if not the top one's. And CAT score is not the only thing that is required for getting admission but a good command in English language is necessary. Above that you gotta have knowledge about the current affairs. So if a person gets a call from a institution it doesn't assure admission there because he have to go GD & PI rounds.
And for the reservations, it is there but differs from institutions to institutions but the minimum score for a reservation is 45% in
