The cost and requirements for visiting or studying in England depend on the type of visa you're applying for: 

Student visa

You'll need to show you have enough money to support yourself for at least 28 days in a row. The amount you need depends on where you're studying: 

London: £1,483 per month 

Outside London: £1,136 per month 

Residential independent school: You'll need to pay boarding fees instead 

Family members: You'll need to show you have extra money for each family member you bring with you 

Skilled Worker visa

You'll need to show you have at least £1,270 in your bank account to support yourself. You'll also need to pay a healthcare surcharge of usually £1,035 per year. 

Graduate visa

You'll need to pay an application fee of £822 and a healthcare surcharge of usually £1,035 per year. 

Family visa

You might need to pay a healthcare surcharge. The cost depends on how long you're staying: 

2 years and 6 months: £2,587.50 

2 years and 9 months: £3,105 

5 years: £5,175 

Standard Visitor visa

You'll need to provide information about your travel plans, where you'll be staying, and how much you think your trip will cost. 

Studying in the UK

For Humanities, you'll need a minimum of 65% in your 12th-grade marks. For Science and Commerce, you'll need 70 to 80% or above. You'll also need to take an English language proficiency exam, such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE.
