Generally, Hotel Management colleges prefer students who have completed their 12th exam as a regular student. But some colleges may have no issue with the distance education. You have to check with the college directly.

I would suggest you to avoid IBS - Hyderabad as it has a very high student intake, which inflates the placements quoted on the website. The placements are not very good. You can expect around Rs.6 LPA. The student intake is 1100 and fees is around Rs.16.5 lakhs with hostel.
