Following are the changes in the evaluation system of CBSE class 10th:1. All students have been awarded grades, not marks2. No Compartments/Fail3. The result of candidates is now declared in two categories: Eligible for qualifying certificate (QUAL) and Eligible for improvement of performance (EIOP)4. All students, even those who have failed in all subjects will now be given five chances to improve their performance without having to repeat a year.
