Yes, one should have Science with (PCM OR PCB) subjects to pursue B.Tech in food technology programme. Many universities do accept PCB subjects too for the same.
Either you need to sit for JEE or entrance exam of a particular university in which you want to apply.

The class starts at 8.30 am and ends by 4.30 pm. But the timings vary at times depending on case study/simulation or industry lectures. So, you got to be flexible.
