Requirements for courses in disaster management varies according to the institution and the course they have introduced in the university. Before taking admission check with the institutions what grades and qualification you want pursue before you submit the application.
Students from any streams are eligible to join the course.
Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with minimum of 55% marks .to pursue the certificate and Bachelor course
For PG Programmes:Candidate should hold graduation in any field from any recognised institute or a University.
For Ph.the: Candidate should have minimum of 55% marks in the Post Graduation.

AIEEE-All India Engineering Entrance Examination. This exam was conducted before the system of JEE Mains had come. The AIEEE, was the entrance exam for admission into many engineering colleges in India as it was mainly for sub-urban and rural area's students to get a good college. The questions were mostly easy with direct formula applications. Many questions were easy but some were tough.
In case of JEE Mains (joint entrance examination), they are for admission into top colleges like NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. As these are reputed institutions the entrance exam was made tough. The questions are difficult when compared to AIEEE.
So, if you want to clear JEE Mains, it is better to practice previous years JEE Mains papers and few AIEEE questions which have tough concepts.
In all, AIEEE is easier but JEE Mains is little tough as compared to AIEEE.

You can look for following options:
Bachelors in Arts-You can do BA by taking honours either in economics, political Science, language, sociology, history, geography, home science and philosophy. This line has the scopes in teaching in schools, colleges, universities so you can opt for B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) after graduation.
Bachelors in Commerce:
Commerce people can complete their graduation with honours in any of the commerce subjects like accountancy, finance, business administration and economics depending on the marks scored on the specialised subject. You can also choose to go for teaching in schools, colleges, universities and can also prepare for the UGC NET exam. You can directly study MBA after graduation, go for M.Com too for another two years and then research for the doctorate degree.
Bachelors in Science:
Candidates of science stream taking honours in physics, chemistry, and biology can choose to be a teacher in different Science institutes, can also complete the M.Sc in your specialised honour subject, prepare to qualify the UGC NET exam. After post graduation, you can do research for the Ph.D degree. This usually takes another 3-5 years. You also have a career scope in the field of biotechnology, microbiology, bioinformatics and biochemistry.
