NIT Trichy has top-notch placements offering quite excellent packages. According to some unofficial sources, As of May 22, 2024, the highest package offered at NIT Trichy is estimated to be INR 52.89 Lakhs per Annum. Official placement reports for the 2024 batch are not available yet.

Admissions to NIT (National Institute of Technology), Trichy is Entrance Based for almost all of the courses. The college accepts different exam scores for different levels of courses. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is necessary for admissions to the undergraduate engineering programs, B.Tech which offers 8 courses and B.Arch which offers 1 course. Admissions are based on the marks scored in class 12th or equivalent as well as the JEE (Main) examination. Seats are allocated to students through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA).

It is unlikely that you will be able to get a BDS or BAMS seat in Karnataka with 262 marks in NEET. The cutoff marks for BDS and BAMS in Karnataka are usually much higher than 262 marks.
The following table shows the cutoff marks for BDS and BAMS in Karnataka for the 2022-23 academic year:

NIT Trichy and IIITs are one of the best institutions present in India. The placements are great in both the NITs and IITs and both the institutions offer scholarships to various course students. The faculty is good at NIT Trichy and in most of the IIITs and the facilities offered by NIT Trichy and IIITs are great.
