Hi Firoz,
Frankly speaking, there are lot of factors, which goes into a successful career, first is your Institute standing in the job market, second is how you perform on the programme and third and the most important thing is that how you use the knowledge earned while in job. The first two things are important till the time you get a job and third thing i.e your job performance is something which will actually help you in rising, so, I would suggest you to first of all ponder on where you are lacking, have you showcased your capabilities well to the company you are working for, have you tried taking any additional responsibilities, try giving ideas to increase the sales etc. for your growth the most impotant thing is your proactive attitude and your craving to creat a niche for yourself. Management should feel the need to keep you and give you growth that is how you grow.
All this I am speaking from my own experience one of my collegue who has not even completed hios graduation reachecd the BDM level starting from a counselor, this is just an anecdot for you.
