To appear for NET you need have completed/ are pursuing a UGC specified degree. Periyar University is a UGC recognised Univesity, so you can sit for NET. GATE can be given by anybody with Bachelors or Masters degree in specifice courses. For complete information please check the links below:

We all know that there are certain differences in the spellings and grammar of British English and American English. However, there would be a multiple choice section based on American English. You should have a knowledge of the spellings in American English to score well in this section. SCDL doesn't offer MBA it PG Diploma
Both have the exam pattern of multiple choice which is not based of any management education as management education should be based on purely concrete thinking and solving real life business case studies
