The application deadlines for all the universities offering admission in Spring-2012 intake are over or about to get over, so it would be advisable for you to apply for September-2012 intake.
Please remember in order to pursue MBA from good university in UK, you need to have minimum 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation, how ever there are some universities which offers MBA to students with no work experience.
So if your wish to pursue MBA form good university, it would be advisable to work for 2-3 years and then apply for MBA, or else if you do not wish to work you can pursue Msc in management from UK.
The course curriculum of Msc in management, is almost similar to MBA, the only difference is, MBA is more of a practical oriented course and Msc in management. is more of a theoretical course.

For the preparation, the exam can get very tough if the candidate is not prepared. You need to be familiar with the current news and other happenings of the Indian economy. Read guide books, newspapers, journals and even watch television for important news reports. Reading English newspapers will help you to get a good hold on the English language.
You may even refer to books like UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam General Studies, Upkars UPSC Central Police Forces Assistant Commandants. Other than this you can refer to the books for other similar entrance exams.
