I have completed the first semester of E-MBA with U18. I give it a thumps up. Good points - excellent content, great faculty, quick query resolving from lessons, good technical infrastructure, self paced and very professional. IGNOU is no where close to them. SMU is good but in this one you have to really work hard to score. I mean it is objective type question and your thoroughness will be examined. Only point I do not like is that the non-academic responses are sometimes not quick. They even forget to debit your EMI from your account. :)

Hi Neelam, as per your query I would say that GATE in Engineering is considered as one of the most prestigious entrance exams of the country. The test is carried out jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology for admission to Masters in Technology (M.Tech) post graduate program. GATE is administered by these top technology institutes coming under the Department of Higher Education and National Coordination Board. Most of the institutes also conduct a personal interview round.
It would be advisable to go for GATE exam as there are very few colleges accepting M.Tech students without GATE.
