No, being a student pursuing ECE I can tell, it isn't a tough stream. If you can manage studying 1 hour per day (at least) then it won't sound difficult for you. I would suggest studying whole semester instead of managing all the chapters just before exam. Once you invest your time, you would find it easy and interesting. It just requires a bit more time investment than other streams. It requires good knowledge of circuits and signals.

Yes, DGCA certification/ license at the end of three year course of AME is good enough to get you a job. It's actually the license that is of vital importance.

Not a chance. Forget about your XAT 2017 score and start preparing for CAT 2017 & XAT 2018. Even tier 3 colleges require at least 60-70 percentile.
The cut-off for XIME is generally around 70-75 percentile.

The programming languages, networking and database are the most important sectors being recruited for. In programming languages, go for JAVA complete course (Core JAVA + Advanced JAVA + J2EE) or ASP.NET. For the database, go for Oracle certified course. For networking courses, go for CISCO certified course like CCNA + CCNB.
