Hi,
The best way to predict a college through JEE Mains score is to use shiksha's college predictor app. After that just go for the counselling of that college. You may also choose private colleges like BITS Pilani, SRM, VIT, SKIT-Jaipur, Galgotia, Sharda, LPU, NIRMA, etc.

Though SOM is much higher in ranking, placements, as well as legacy, an absolute comparison between two colleges is generally a bad idea. You have to decide what you want from your MBA and which school is better equipped to give you that. Here are two articles which will tell you a lot about why SJMSOM is special, rest of the decision is up to you:

If we consider previous years cut off then you hold chances to get into NIT PATNA or NIT HAMIRPUR. The closing ranks of these colleges for b.arch last year were around 2500. You can try for your home state NIT as well, that will double your chances to get a seat there. Else there are other colleges that you can apply for: SPA, Vijayawada
BITS Mesra, Ranchi
Hope this was helpful.

You can go for either of these two, to pursue interior designing.
Also, if you are doing some additional course with interior designing for PG or you are willing to do some kind of job or internship in a period of about 6 months or a year, then you should go for Diploma course and if you are interested in the full time one then I suppose you should opt for degree course of interior designing.

Don't lose hope. Yes, you can take admission in other universities but in this regard, state board and central board have two different kind of rules. In state board, they will deduct 5% of your HS marks. For central board, there is no deduction of marks but you have to qualify their minimum eligibility criteria and have to pass the entrance test to take admission.
