Deciding on a career is very important and you must choose, what you wish to do rather than just following the herd. Post class 12th, you have many options like:
B.Com Self-Financed Courses like BBI ( Bachelors in Banking and Insurance) or BAF ( Bachelors in Accounting and Finance) and BFM (Bachelors in Financial Markets)
Since you have Math as a subject, you could think of options related to computers which includes either BCA or a B.Sc IT course.
You could opt for a BA in Sociology or a BSW (Bachelors in Social work) and master it with an MSW (Masters in Social work).
The only institute famous in offering an MSW is Tata Institute of Soci

Hello Vaisnavi,
You have scored that are really low. I would sincerely advise you to leave obsession of engineering. But if you must then only management quota will get you admission.

There are total 30 seats out of which 15 are general seats. It is hard to say if she will get the seat or not. The last rank to get the seat in FC, Mumbai last year was 323. I feel the chances are high. You can always try for round two.

Through rank I think it is difficult but VIPS do take students through management quota (donations). You can check on that with the management of the college.

Overall it is a good college. Faculty are good, but the main concern is placement. So, I will talk about placement more
Placement cell was good during my college tenure. Placement was done on a rotation basis. Though I did not get any placement at the end of the course, 20% of the total student got placement that year. The jobs offered were not so good and the salary was like stipend. I got a job in a renowned hospital through my personal capabilities. I think the job placement cell did a bias work that time.

Graphic Era in expensive for MBA. If you want to pursue MBA along with international tour including hostel it will cost you around Rs 2 lakh per semester. Infrastructure is good. Faculties are very supportive. Placements are good for marketing but not for HR and finance. I would recommend you to join IMS Unison University instead of Graphic Era.
