In my suggestion if you are willing to do engineering and if you can drop on this year than do that but if you can't drop and want to pursue engineering this year then go for the all 7 rounds of counselling and of course there is a chance that you would get SASTRA.

I see that a graduate should have a UG certification from a recognised board with 55% aggregate percentage to qualify for OpenMAT just check if there is any alternative way of admission. It may accept admissions based on experience letter from a company you worked for over a certain period of time.

In order to calculate your best of four, you need to choose your subjects that have been listed in two lists. The subjects like physics, maths, history, geography, political Science and many others have been listed in the first list. Including these subjects won't cause a deduction, however that also depends upon your course and your stream.
