In order to pursue Phd, from universities abroad, you need to first of all make a list of the universities that you aspire for, then send emails to respective course department, asking them to provide you the eligibility criteria and selection procedure for PHD students.
It may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor
The general eligibility criteria for PHD students are as follows :
In majority of the institutes, Master's Degree is an essential pre-requisite for a Ph.D. while others admit graduates too.
It is important that you have good scores in common entrance tests such as GRE and English Language examinations like TOEFL.
Internships or other work experience will add to your qualifications.
Ph.D. course work essentially includes research and documentation work. This requires large amounts of money. In addition to this, you have to consider living expenses for the entire duration of the course. The annual expenses of most Ph.D. students are about $28,000-$40,000 per year.

Hi Bipin, the engineering courses are considered significant, especially in India, because most of the students in the country aim for engineering studies, immediately after their +2.
The government of India has established entrance exam schemes, such as, AIEEE, UPSEE, JEE and SLEEE. The AIEEE and the JEE are conducted as a national level entrance exams for engineering admissions and the UPSEE and the SLEEE is conducted as the state level entrance exams.
And as you wish to become an engineer in near future I would suggest you to first prepare for engineering entrance exams and work on the weaker areas rigorously for specific period of time.
As for the colleges, after clearing the entrance you may go for such colleges like NIT Warangal, NIT Suratkal, JNTU College of Engineering, IIT Madras,PSG College of Technology, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Government Collete of Technology, and many more which will not ask for donation.

The basic eligibility is +2 or equivalent, with PCM and must have a fair percentage of marks in the aggregate.One must also pass the qualifying exam IIT-JEE.
Jobs lies with various airlines like Air India, Indian Airlines, flying clubs, private and government owned air service and aircraft manufacturers like the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) with its factories at Bangalore, Nashik, Koraput, Kanpur etc.
As for the remuneration, engineers in government organisations, are paid official scales while those in the private sector are paid according to the scales decided by the management of the company.
