In most cases you can use one section of an LM393 dual comparator as a substitute for a LM311 single comparator. The main difference is the lack of offset balance and strobe controls which your auto power off circuit probably doesn't require anyway. The pinouts are different so you'll have to take that into account. It's good design practice to ground the unused inputs of the second section. http://www.hqew.net/product-data/LM311

GMAT before anything else. It's sad, but it's true: your GMAT score is probably the most important factor in determining whether you will be admitted to a top business school. Need to clarify this statement, though.
Most applicants are reminded that there is a significant difference between a 680 and a 720 on the test. There is no. The extra 40 points will not help your chances to be accepted. Yes you can certainly do a hotel management course which has a duration of 1 year. There are colleges which are offering that and includes six months of on job training as well. But it is mainly done at Post Graduation level. Feel free to interact with us more on this matter.
