Hi AAmir,
To begin with the last part of your question, if you are in the final year then you are eligible to write the GATE exam. As per the notifications that were published, the online exam is already over, and now you can gear up for the offline exam which is on 13th Feb 2011 if you had apply for the entrance else you can try it in the next year.
The Online exam this year was conducted in the month of January 2011.

I have just one suggestion to give you. Ensure that you do your MBA, from the top 50 B Schools, in India. If you are not able to make it to the top 50, write your CAT again, and ensure that you clear CAT , with a good percentile. If you compromise on the quality of the B School, you will be wasting your time and money.

The SAP courses are high priced courses. However, the fee structure may vary from Institute to Institute, it generally goes upto 1 lakh and more, not only this SAP examination would cost you somewhere around 25,000 per examination. The duration of the program would also vary from institute to institute some may have 6 months courses whereas others will have 1 -2 years programs.
