Master of Design M.Des is a post graduation degree course offered in the field of design. Several specializations are available for this course such as Accessory design, Architecture, Ceramic design, Fashion design, Game design, Graphic design, Industrial design, Interior design, Leather design, Jewellery and Metal Smithing, Knitwear design, multimedia design and textile design. Candidates having M.Des degree can work as designers in automobile and mechanical engineering companies. Automobile designer, Ware house designer, ceramic designer, PUE designer, quality control designer are some of the designer jobs available in these companies. Companies like BMW, Volkswagon, Hero cycles, Eureka forbes, SIDBI, FICCL gives huge salary packages for the designer post. Yes, scholarships are available but you have to visit the university websites to learn about the university specific criteria. Scholarships are mainly on merit. Also for SMU, the admission requirements varies with your board- IB or CBSE or state board etc. SAT or ACT is required. Additionally for Law applicants a separate interview or writing test is required. There is no minimum limit but a first class is recommended, around 70%. On the other hand, to study in UK you must take the LNAT to be considered for admissions. King's College is a top college so naturally a good percentage above 70% is recommended. You must also take the IELTS. I will strongly advise you to visit their website please for clarity.

The eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2018 are as follows:
Anyone born on or after July 1, 1996 can apply for VITEEE 2018
Interested candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate). Also, the average marks obtained by aspirants in PCM / PCB in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the SC/ST & North Eastern State. Aspirants who have studied regular, full time and formal education can apply for VITEEE 2018. The exam will be open to NIOS' (National Institute of Open Schooling) candidates too. NRI candidates will also be eligible to apply for VITEEE 2018, apart from applying through direct NRI form. PIO and OCI holder will be able to apply for VITEEE 2018. (Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category only). .
