If you talk about Event Management as a specialization in MBA this field is still at a budding stages you would not find many Institutes providing this specialization. However, if you have keen interest in Event Management you can opt for MBA in Sales and marketing which is a very wide field and will cover all such areas as Event Management, advertising etc.
As far as the scope of Event Management as a profession is concerned, Because of the recent growth of festivals and events event Management as an industry around the world is no longer an unorganized Industry. Events and festivals, such as the Asian Games, have a large impact. The industry now includes events of all sizes from the Olympics to a breakfast meeting for ten business people. Many industries, charitable organizations, and interest groups will hold events of small & big sizes in order to market themselves, build business relationships, raise money or celebrate.

Hi, 85% is a good percentage. though I can not say you can go to any University but you will be bale to apply to lot of Universities. Different Universities have different requirements for the various courses they offer Hence it will be wrong to generally predict about all. But yes, you will definitely get choices among a lot of good Universities.
In the UK, UG engineering programs are of 3 years in duration. Courses commence in September and one can not apply directly to the Universities(most of them). You need to apply through UCAS and the last date is 30 June. You have the provision of applying to 5 Universities and UCAS charges GBP 21 for it. There is a small intake in Jan, for which you don't have to go through UCAS and you can apply directly. At least 50% in 12 to get into the bottom ranked university or college. Or if you take the foundation route then you will have to study for an extra year and for that the course will commence in Jan and the main course in sep. IELTS minimum of 6.0 is expected. You need to fill the application online and upload the documents also before submitting the application.

first of all dont feel lost & frustrated that u don't know what to do , coz every prob has a solution ,your problem is that you have chosen mba as ur career, basis the general opinions , placements & popularity of the course , but u still r nt sure if your choice will result positive & gainful for you as u have interests on several other areas too but ur nt being able to voice those interests as u dont know how capable are you to go ahead with one of those fields as a definate career option. if my analysis of your prob is correct pls let me know so that i can provide u with the solution for this prob, which will put an end too all your hesitations & frustrations and will make you firm & focused in future.

Classes commence in September every year. The following Universities offer the course : University of Abertay Dundee and Glasgow Caledonian University. As the degree offered by Abertay Dundee is a BEng, its a 4 yrs course.
Fee : Abertay Dundee : GBP 9500
There will be additional living expenses of GBP 5400 per annum.

Well as Mass Comm provides a lot of options, similarly ti offers a lot of career opportunities in its different domains.
