The range of b.tech in Canada is somewhere between 10 to 20 lakhs depending on the provinces and universities. For UK, the cost would be 15 lakhs and more per year. This doesn't include the cost of living.

Diploma imparts skills required for job. 12th prepares you in theory. If finance is not permitting then go for diploma, get some job, or at that point in time get bank loan and complete degree.
