In SRM, civil and aerospace both the engineering branches are good as both have nearly equal placement record, but I would suggest, you should pursue aerospace engineering as it has a very bright future in India in next 10 years. So, go with aerospace engineering or you can choose petroleum engineering in UPES.

Hello, it does not make a difference, universities abroad are aware of the various education boards in India. There could be however many debates about it, recognition of CBSE and IB boards are higher compared to state boards as said by many, however as long as you have a good profile you need not worry as every year thousands of deserving students from all over the country irrespective of the boards are admitted.

Hey Shivam, Athena is a pretty good business school. I have a couple of friends who are studying there, they have already picked up pre placement offers. Also, they give multiple internships and have International Study Tours. But, the only way of knowing how good a b school is by actually visiting it and interacting with the faculty and students. Best of luck.
