You can do MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50% aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. You can start your career as a System Engineer, Database Administrator, System analyst, Software Consultant, Test Engineer, Designer, Mobile Application Developer, Computer Network Architect, MS Director, IT Manager, Information Security Officer, Security Architect, Security Director, Information Security Analyst, Network Security Engineer are the career prospects. The general eligibility criteria is 10+2 passed from a recognized board with PCM subjects OR passed valid (and relevant) 3 years long Diploma course from a recognized institute.
But it has been noticed that eligibility criteria may vary from one institute to another. But reputed institutes stick to the criteria that has been mentioned above.
Reputed institutes rely on merit based admission process. Marks scored by students in 10+2 board exam and/or relevant entrance test is taken into consideration. Based on the marks scores, a merit list is formed.
Depending upon the cut-off marks, seats are allotted to deserving candidates. Some institutes are also known to conduct their own selection/entrance test.
