First of all, remove this approach of choosing a specialisation in career for a girl or a boy. Both have equal opportunities & prospects, its not a gender biased selection. There are lot many specializations today but first decide about your career priorities where or which companies you are aiming for, depending on you can choose. The eligibility conditions for BAMS course is:
Generally, only 12th Science stream + Biology group students are eligible to apply for this course. In most cases, the minimum marks criteria for admission is 50% marks in the 12th Board examinations. The selection to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery degree course is based on the marks secured in the final merit list, I.e. total marks aggregated in the entrance exam and the final result of 10+2 taken together.
As per the notification, the NEET score would be compulsory for 2018 session and onwards.

Please refer to the following points mentioned below:
1. All government & private medical college will take admission via NEET scores only (except AIIMS & JIPMER)
2. Private unaided college (which is affiliated to a State University) or a Deemed University including minority colleges like CMC Vellore, CMC (Ludhiana) will be able to take admission via State centralized admission counselling process only which will be conducted by respective states DME department (Directorate of Medical Education) . No separate application or admission process will be conducted by private unaided college or deemed university.
