If we look at present scenario, you would see that most of the college counsellors would suggest you for PGDM. PGDM is about 40% practical knowledge and 60% theory.Recruiters mostly seek for practical knowledge. If we look at MBA. It is totally theoretical. The other difference is fee structure for both the course. PGDM comparatively is expensive. But do remember, if you go for PGDM than go for colleges which are AIU approved as they offer PGDM degree equivalent to MBA. Rest is your interest. Whether you want to go for theoretical study or practical knowledge. But seek for good colleges if you are investing your 2 years. Good Luck!

Atharva isn't a good choice for pursuing MBA, as it doesn't come even under the top 50 colleges in India. The average package offered too is hardly Rs 4 Lacs. So simply avoid it and look for other better options. http://www.atharvaims.edu.in/esteemed-recruiters.phpKindly visit this link to know about the list of recruiters.

You have worked as a bank manager. It's a great thing and after seeing your profile I must suggest you that you have to take a chance with international business because nowadays in this field, such opportunities are available and amount of interested students in this field are really low. So, you have 90% chance to be successful in this field
And the answer to your question, it depends on your own budget. If your budget is more than 30 Lacs then I must suggest you that you go abroad.
