A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at graduation level. (45% marks for SC/ST candidates)Candidates passing degree examination by part time / correspondence course are not eligible.Students in the final year of graduation can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% aggregate mark.Diploma holders are not eligible.
The final selection will be made by looking at the following profile parameters:
SNAP Test Score GI-PI performancePrevious academic records and consistency in academicsWork Experience Extra-curricular and leadership experiences Other achievements - international, national or state levels
The final merit list will be out on 25-February-2011. We may come up with waiting lists on a need basis.

As Shiksha is an Education Portal which believes giving unbiased opinion it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion on a particular Institute. However, JSS Academy is a decent autonomous institute. I would like to add here that few of the things which you should keep in mind while choosing your Institute are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.

Although, to an extent I would agree with Yogita, that only coaching would not solve your problem you need to work at your end as well by watching various news channels, reading news paper on daily basis and most importantly interacting with your friends and family members in English. However, few of the good Engish Learning Institutes which you can check in Bangalore are: Inlingua, Veta, BSE, Greenwood High International School, and Bangalore International School etc.

Hi Ashish, of course you can. To pursue you a course in a subject that requires relevant background it is necessary to either have a degree in the same subject or have work ex in the same field. You work ex in a different field will be to your advantage provided you know how to make good use of it.

Documents required to apply for admission- Class 10 and 12 marksheets and Passing certificate, sem wise or year wise marksheets, degree certificate or provsional certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation(2), Work experience letters from all employers, CV, A copy of your passport(1st and Last Page), IELTS (6.5 min for PG courses). IELTS can be submitted later on if not already written.

It is not clear to what course of study you are referring to by mentioning PGDIM but assuming that you must be inquiring about the Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing, there are not many institutes with a similar course name, but you can definitely search for the PG Diploma courses in Management that might be offered in the similar location.
