MBA is more of a general program whereas MSW (Masters in Social Welfare) is a specialized program. MSW is opted by students who want to make their career with an NGO (Non Governmental Organization) . This program is focused on rehabilitating people living in abject poverty. This is just one area. In the case of an MBA program, you have four core specializations, as in, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Operations.
