No,
It is not possible to study in Canada without the IELTS. It is very much mandatory during the time of admission and during the time of visa. Atleast 6.5 band score is required with a minimum scor of 6 in each section. If you score lower than 6.5, you would have to retake the IELTS so prepare hard and target a score above 6.5.

Hi,
If you are an international student coming froma different country, even if you have achieved a cambridge certificate, you will have to take the IELTS as it is an international student requirement. Target a minimum score above 7.0 band score or you may have to retake it provided you score less than 7.
