You didn't mentioned private or government.
Incase for private you should have 100+ or even 90+.
For government,120 will take you to top NIT's and will also qualify you for JEE Advanced.
If you are SC reserved,85 is fine to get into NIT's ,same for ST reserved too.

Hi Manya,
For BA in journalism and mass communication from Chandigarh University, the fee details are as follows:
Fee - Rs 39500/- per semester
Eligibility -10+2 with atleast 50% marks in aggregate (in case of SC/ST category 45%) or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council in the aggregate oR 45% marks in 10+2 in any stream with at least 55% in English as the subject.
