It's normal practice in any MCQ type of paper to have negative marking. This is to prevent students from randomly marking answers even if they are not knowing ABC of it. It has been observed that many students have a tendency to mark answers whenever no negative marking is prescribed with the hope of getting few marks simply by stroke of luck. Here in JEE Mains, authorities have therefore decided to have negative marking @1 mark per wrong answer which is quite liberal and not stiff. It depends upon your interests as well as several important factors like expenses, fees, placements, industry exposure, etc. The top 20 schools offer an average package of around Rs.15 LPA to Rs.20 LPA. You may even bag international placements through some of them.
Whereas, to pursue MS in foreign countries, the colleges generally ask for some work-experience without which you may be debarred from securing admission. The fees of those schools for just a year is quite expensive. So, I would suggest you to gain some work experience and build your overall profile before, if you are interested in doing MS. Else, MBA in India would do.

Find below the eligibility to pursue MS degree from universities in Canada.
- Undergraduate degree in same or relevant discipline (60%-70% plus in degree)
- High score in GRE.
- High scores in IELTS or TOEFL.
Preferred GRE score- 300 plus.
