Hello Technically there is not much difference in PGDM and MBA. An MBA degree can only be offered by Universities where as most colleges offer PGDM. Even the IIMs offer PGDM. Technically PGDM is equivalent to MBA. The companies do not differentiate between pgdm and MBA. The work experience matters more and your score in MBA matters more

Hi Amit,
Every NIT has its own cut-off and admission procedure hence I would suggest that you attempt JEE to the best of your capabilities.
The mantra to success is dedication, commitment and determination. Stay focused and work hard towards goal attainment. You will certainly reap results, remember hard work always pays off. Don't underestimate your potential, you are worth a thousand sparrows. Don't let your fear demotivate you or derail you from your future aspirations.
I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated to the universities while the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Both are equivalent. And IIM'S also gives PGDM not MBA degree.

Getting high percentile in entrance exams won't assured you a seat in BIMM. You have to work hard or else perform best in GD&PI round that will definitely help you to the way towards getting admission in BIMM. Hope I have answer your query.
